The dog could sense his state of mind

His dog sensed what he was about to do and loved him enough to stop him. Dogs are much more in tune with emotions than many people choose to believe. He created a bond with his dog and then his dog saved his life. Creating a bond with certain animals like a wolf or a horse or some form of big cat can be challenging at times, but well worth it.
He and his dog are true heroes!

He found his purpose, sometimes God lets us hit rock bottom so we know He’s our rock at that bottom; and if you spell dog backwards it’s def a little four legged angel sent from above.
If only wealth was earned from kindness. This guy is still rich, just in a different way
